So Oceanic is down, so i could only play on the other servers. Nearest is NA Servers, so i went there.

Something i noticed is that it's a lot more fast-paced, less coordinated, less careful and jumps to action quickly, MOAR LRMs, and far scattered.

Is this really how MWO is played, the land of the actual MWO scene, or it's just that NA is literally pug-land and those in my servers are kind of mature?

i find oceanic extremely passive. which is good for me as a brawler. as long as i don't get impatient and wait 8-10 minutes, i can land the last shots on a whole lot of damaged robots. haha!

I've been playing Oceanic most of the time. Is the NA really the home of the best players? I guess i better go NA and learn the ways of the pug.

NA pugs are...well, a mixture of good, bad, and potato.

There are the occasional bads who demand to be babysitted.
There are the occasional goods who stick together and wolfpack the crap out of the enemies.
And of course, there are the potatoes who do what potatoes do best. Potating around a central point, not even firing a single shot back...or firing LRMs back, but not noticing that they're either indoors or smacking a rock to bits.

Unfortunately, as much as I'd like to play on OCE, I can't even do that thanks to ISP routing issues.

Well, I play almost solely NA, and half the time I'm one of the "better" players on my team, and the other half I'm getting sub 200 damage. All in lore builds. So take that as you will.

EUs are kinda passive as well. But it will probably make your ping go bad places.

I live SEA, so my ping is actually lower than the rest, that's why i play Oceanic at all.

I play either NA or Oceania servers; I sometimes get better ping to the Oceania servers, but I find it isn't worth the queue times to play that server exclusively.

230ms to the NA server is still playable, so I don't mind much.
