Just put in the address: https://mwomercs.com/tournaments and it will bring up whatever the latest event is.
If there isn't one, it will say there are no "challenges" at this time. Occasionally that word is tournaments. Not sure if they just do a new page each time or what, but it may explain the changes in the exact wording on occasion.

Yes - and you should always read the announcements and patch notes. =)
