Well, ....

Read the challenge as soon as it was anounced

"Forgot" to play the first three days (life!)

Skipped the whole thing

I really really really hate those challenges that "force" you to play each. I have some days every week where I wake up at 4am, leave the house at 5am and return 8pm. Then I eat sth. with my wife and call it a day, becasue the coming night might be just as short.

There is no ******* way I can play a handfull of games on those days, so basicly all challenges that inculde playing every day are not possible for me,

Well, you need twelve points from fourteen days. What would you like? Ten points from twelve days? Eight points from twelve days? Or perhaps four points from two weeks?

Or maybe simply being awarded the Grid Iron Hero just for logging in?

There are people on this forum who have already complained that this is no challenge at all, but more like a simple giveaway.

I suppose that would be sufficient. If you mean 'Log in to the forums,' anyway.

I expect nothing less than a HBK-IIC-GI (S)(C) if they want me to log into the game though, with the 60% C-Bill and 30% XP Bonus that one would expect from such a fine machine.

Well, I HAVE the Grid Iron already. As most of the other heroes. I just tend to buy things I want from the shitload of money I make from my job, that is keeping me from palying this game. But I guess thats a problem you dont have and thus can't understand. Good for you.... wait, nevermind.

How about not locking the challenges to days, but to an amount of kills/assists etc, so you can do it when you have time

Magnificent. We have both enough money. The difference between you and me is that when I want to, I can organize my time. As for this challenge, I can find the time to play one game a day (10-15 minutes) to get that one needed point. Because if you need more than one game to get a score 100 ... it's sad, really.

[loads up a Linebacker to both level them and to get some kills for the event, finishes an alright match]

[checks to see how well I'm doing on exp for leveling, sees 10k more than earlier, does a double take and looks at the match results from a screenshot]

Posted Image

Well, I'm in love with this exp boost, that's for sure.

Legitimately, if allergy pills aren't cutting it, grab night-time cold meds. Even if you know you don't have a cold. It's better to have a drug induced sleep over not being able to breath. My only qualm about night-time cold meds is that I get freaky (and not the good kind of freaky) dreams from them.

Pills? Like big pharma? Gross man!

Try some stinging nettles or echinacea instead!

Hardest part of this challenge? ...actually logging in and I don't mean remembering but actually getting a connection to the game servers... (and yes my internet is working... I can play other online games, such as BF1, at the times I can't connect to MWO).

I was away for 2 days and had to use an old Ultrabook to play. 1.5GHz Ultra-low-voltage Core I3 & integrated Intellgraphics. 15-20 fps on LOW settings.

Took LRM MadDog and got 600 damage on my fist match :-)
Next day the same thing: my team got rolled 0:12 but still got 280 damage :-)

For me, yes, definitely the "must play for 12 days" is very difficult.. real life happens.. Thank god I have a VERY understanding girlfriend that understands and supports my gaming addiction.. Posted Image

If I had kids, this would not be an option for me..

So you organize your time into 1407 posts here on the forums, +ingame time. Odd priorities, but whatever floats your boat,

One Game can still be too much, believe it or not. Sure, I could tell my lovely wife to go to bed early and without me, so I can sit down after supper and play a round or two. If its not one of those days where I have 7 hours from getting home to leaving the house again. Including supper, breakfast and showering.

I don't strip my time from something vital to play MWO, just to get a cheap mech. I does not bug me that I don't get a second one, and I have more mechs than I could ever play here, but it bugs me that those challenges come up more and more that requiere a certain action every day.

That was what made me quit WoT, after I dumped 2500€ into it. Not sad about the moneay, just shows how something previously valued loses a lot of merit all of a sudden. No time for playing every day and if there are too many challenges that I can't complete, I feel the game is not for me anymore.

I still have over a year of premium time banked that I don't need to touch yet and if just skip trough these coments here, I am by far not the only one who has a problem with playing every day. Even if its just 100 points and 1 game

LOL

Your lack of free time is your problem and your organization of time.

Plus, as I wrote above, you don't have to play the challenge every day. You need twelve points and you have fourteen days to manage it.

Yar, and the comments that it's just a daily are totally off.

A daily is done at the end of the day.

This is a twelvely.

Even after advice, the component destruction took me a long time.

As soon as I finished it, I did one match with 8 comp destructs. Go figure.

I don't know what this topic is about, but this event was great, got a lot of free MC. I got a gift of large amount of MC for Christmas a few years back(thanks Mom Posted Image), and now I have Hero mechs, any colors, camos, decals, or cockpit items I want and enough to get the Hero King Crab when it comes out and these events keep my MC savings topped up. Nice.

Sure hope Mech Con is good and adds more content. I got a bunch of creds and MC with no where to go.

Sometimes concentrating too much on one thing may adversely affect your skill.
