For the next weekend challenge, is it possible to get some different rewards? MC and C-bills are nice and all but how about something different for the next one or maybe something for all of them.

Decent modules as event prizes.

Advanced Radar Deprivation
Advanced Seismic
Advanced Radar Decay

Heck, any of the $6M cbill modules that people actually use and cost more than a light mech, (I still don't get how a module costs more than a mech) would be nice as a prize.


On a side note: Why the hell do modules cost more than the mechs they are going in to?

Considering we've been teased about the skill tree revamp for awhile now, and mech pre-orders have lost the modules we used to get, I'm expecting modules to go the way of Artemis special animations. And unless it's a terrible system that replaces them, I will rejoice.

Modules are being rebalanced or removed soon, so giving them away seems... silly.

Also pretty sure you cant use them without unlocking them with XP, so giving them away as prizes is bad design (And yes, I know they're in the Supply Caches, what in the **** is up with that?).

MC and C-Bills are really the best rewards. Better then the useless to most cockpit items, the way they do skins in this game is too restrictive to reasonably offer them as general rewards, item rewards screw over people who are IS or clan loyalist...

Yah. I think I'd like it if we stuck with C-Bills/MC being the main prizes, with the occasional cockpit item for a laugh, and the occasional hero to mix it up.

If you don't mind, I would disagree.

I think that both MCs and 'Mechs (either stock, Champions or Hero 'Mechs) are the best rewards.
Simply put, you can pilot a 'Mech, but you can't pilot a module. And I am in this game to pilot some big stompy robots and I can do even without modules, if needed.

One thing that might be neat is if instead of specific prizes they gave out prize tokens you could then use to pick whatever you like out of a prize pool.

No, not like lockboxes, no randomness involved, give them different grades of rarity and have different tiers of prize pools to choose from, includes Cbills, MC, paint, mechbays, cockpit items, premtime, decals, mechs, etc.

This way if, say, a player already has cockpit item X they could pick something else if they don't want duplicates, this would be especially good for colors or paint skins.
