Yeah I mean sorta? Adam Steiners Axman is directly in btech as the Axman 2n, dropping the stock AC/20 for a pair of LRM-15s giving it the dual pod look. Malthus bizzare looking mech isn't really. I don't recall him EVER firing what appears to be a ballistic off his left arm, it always looked like dual energy mounts and the messed up cockpit also isn't addressed. It's a nice nod to the cartoon but it ant his mech.

And yeah the show is a show but in Btech the show is based off the real Somerset Strikers which means in some way all that crap sorta happened
