Would it be possible to develop a list of all existing merc companies to if someone wants to start their own company we don't end up with something like 4 kell hounds or something like that. We could even link to their hiring thread so people could find the unit if they wanted. This could also be a directory with a description of all merc companies for potential employers(just thinking ahead).

I don't know if this has been done but I didn't see anything in the Merc Corp section. I just kind of throwing this idea out there to see what kind of response it gets.

These are the main canon merc units:

Black Thorns
Cranston Snord's Irregulars
Gray Death Legion
Kell Hounds
McMarron's Calvary
Northwind Highlanders
Rhonda's Irregulars
Wolf's Dragoons

What I suggest is that if there are a LOT of people willing to play as each particular group then we go with that, however if we have a LOT of people wanting to play as the same unit, then it would be better for everyone to come under one umbrella but just different sub-units. e.g. one particular clan can be Alpha Company, another Beta Company etc. thus keeping each unit's individual command structure intact without the bickering over who is the REAL xyz Company.
