[CK16]

So who here is unlucky like my self to be stuck at work today, counting to minutes and seconds while waiting for tomorrow? What shall we do to pass the time while we eagerly await running out of work home to prep?! (Post anything cool Mechwarrior/battletech related?)

Honestly I am excited, be nice to see what PGI, HBS, and CGL are all up to tomorrow. What will all he shown to us?

It's not a matter of working today but rather working tomorrow through most of the event. I'll be on my phone all day looking for posts about any cool announcements.

And that's just from the old CW presentation. Add in the teases, coming soons and utter misrepresentations (reverse kinesthetics in the upcoming patch back in July, the new assault mode that was about to be released in October and then suddenly they "just couldn't make it work", Solaris is nigh but we it needs a replay function and we can't get that to work either, etc.) and the count starts to climb a hell of a lot higher than eight. I've only been around since CW and paying attention for a lot less time than that, and even I am over eight!

Only thing I'm interested in is this new 'mech announcement that they say they've never done anything like it before. What could it be? IS Omnis? Quads? I don't know. I'm prepared for a disappointing answer though. Everything else has been so hush-hush and overhyped that I know it cannot possibly live up to expectations, and as such I simply have no expectations of anything good being announced. That way I won't be disappointed when it is just a bunch of garbage and can be pleasantly surprised if it's not a bunch of garbage.

The kid themselves are not the expensive part, Daycare for both of them is.... I spend more on daycare than I do on my mortgage...

I anticipate a lot of the "let's not talk about that until MechCon" responses are misunderstood as "We'll respond to this exact question/issue at MechCon" when what PGI really means is: "ONE of the systems changes has a mild influence on the subject you just brought up, and I don't want to give anything away so I'm just gonna avoid the whole thing for the time being."
