Not sure if this is the proper place in the forums or not, but I've been watching tons of videos about the current meta, and reading teir list along with Mech reviews. One thing that was mentioned on everyone was the Phoniex Hawk Mech.
I bring this up because they love the look of the Mech, everyone stated how you couldn't find a better looking mech. The second thing each and everyone of them had in common is they said stay away from it. One quote from I believe snuggles on youtube was Its the first time he's seen such a beautiful mech in MWO and commended PGI for their design of it, but it wasn't recomended bc the mech was Garbage.
I know alot of fanboys of battletech are stuck on the lore and build outs for batttletech. This isn't battletech. This is Mechwarrior Online. The phoneix hawk needs tobe redone to be competitive on the field. Because this is a game afterall and no one wants a mech that just under preforms. Yes you can have a good game with it, but I can have a good game with a stormcrow alot easyier. It just takes to much work and skill to even have an average game.

That being said here are things I suggest.

Size reduction, why? because everyone says its to tall. 15% to 25% reduction in scale should do it.

Speed and structure buffs to make it feel like a medium instead of a light.
Common bad things said is that its a confused medium.

Additional slots to allow more customisation. You gotta understand its gonna be up against stormcrows, shadow cats, novas ect... All of wich can mount more firepower than it. I'd ask for more hardpoints but people of "cough" Battletech board game "cough" Would scream fits. I don't mean to dis them, but at somepoint they need to evolve Mechwarrior might be loosely based on battletech but its far from it. In mechwarrior a locus is greater than an Atlas. In battle tech that never happened. I'm not trying to ruin battletech, go play the board game and have fun, Im just trying to make mechwarrior a good competitive game and Im not the only one that believes One of the best looking mechs should be able to become viable in the competitive seen.
