BUG - Training Mode - Alpine - Full Window - In game map fail to appear on the mech dashboard, only a square with dotted line (legs)and V lines but no terrain. None of the lines changed as I moved. All other aspects of the game seemed normal. I was playing with the old movement controls on and the new accelerator movement control off. Using a new Jaegermech.

Just finished a Conquest game around 7:20 pm EDT where the detached arm of an enemy team's mech prevented the capture of Theta.

Don't try to add your own username as a "friend", the notification never goes away! Serves me right :D

I have experienced the same glitch as Eluzian with a few slight variations occuring infrequently over the past week.

Main variant: When I begin a match my HUD is greyed out, but the crosshairs are retained. For the entirety of the match my HUD won't function. Additionally, if I get killed in battle and spectate other players the HUD is still blank. However I've asked the others if their HUD is blank like mine and they responded that it is working fine on their end. So even though I see their HUD as blank it works fine on their end. Indicative that the glitch lies with the single client. The HUD typically resets itself the next match and works fine thereafter, but rarely the glitch recurrs in consecutive matches at a somewhat frequent rate. I've found that rebooting is the best option to resolve the issue when it occurs.

Secondary variant: This is a HUD malfunction similar to the first, but instead of starting a match with a blank HUD, my HUD shows the grid with teh squares, but instead of displaying the terrain it simply displays a rainbow of colows. Literally the map is nothing more than a luminescent display of the rainbow in pastel colored patches of red organge yellow green blue and violet splattered across a functional coordinates grid.


Tertiary variant: I've also experienced a third variant of a HUD glitch where the HUD doesn't properly display the torso turning. Whenever this glitch occurs my mechs torso functions correctly, but the HUD display shows everything as if the torso doesn't turn. Essentially the crosshairs are locked in place and when I turn my torso the HUD doesn't register the movement at all. This leads to a very disorienting experience because the HUD is telling me I'm going in one direction when in actuality I'm going a different direction.

Fourth variant: The final variant of the HUD glitch I've experienced is when the HUD display wotrks, but doesn't register any changes of movement at all. The crosshairs and the directional pointer are both static and randomly positioned. Like the previous variant, this is very disorienting. I've experienced matches where my HUD torso pointer is locked in the south position, and the walking line pointer is locked facing a random direction like northwest. I'm forced to ignore the HUD when this happens and pilot the mech manually. In this variant the map coordinates do update properly, so I can see my mech moving along the map. But the torso and leg indicaters are static and it makes it difficut to focus when this happens.

After the 2 april patch:

- some matches there are no friendly or enemy indicators over mechs. I checked with other people and others have had this too.

I bought the Heavy Metal and I do enjoy it. However I have found that when firing the Gauss at a target at medium range (somewhere around 200-400M not totally sure of the range) the targeting is WAY OFF. I have had my reticle square over a mech that is running strait away from me and the shot goes high and to the left of the target.

No Hud, No IFF, No MiniMap, No Problem. Well almost.

Solution:
1) Enable ALL video card driver options
2) turn UP MWO client video settings to your preference

I had MWO client video settings to low for everything when the No Hud, No IFF, No MinMap problem started rearing its ugly head almost every few games. Thanks to another MWO pilot who suggested I turn my graphic settings up from low to something else all my hud and iff problems have all but disappeared. In the last 4 weeks I rarely maybe once or twice No Hud, No IFF, No MiniMap.

For my Nividia driver settings I selected "performance" if there was an option to do so. Application controlled if there was an option to do so and any driver setting from "off" to "on". viola No more problems 99% of the time.

MWO client video settings all set to Med or higher. The only two I have set low are "particles" and "effects" because they annoy me.

Nvidia Driver settings with all options turned to "performance" "on" or "application controlled"

For those players with low FPS who don't have a choice, well its probably time to upgrade that hardware.

There has been a lot of disconnects when games start, and in the middle of them. Last game I played had our team lose one right before we even hit the drop zone, and 2 more in the middle of combat.

Not sure if this is true for all mechs (i can't afford more than one at the moment):

When customizing the loadout for CN9-AL I clicked the left torso and tried to move the LRM ammo down but it tells me I don't have this item and I need to buy it. When I click cancel the LRM ammo disappears completely from the loadout.

  • Description: I was playing Tourmaline Desert on assault mode, and 2 other mechs and I were attempting to capture, there were no other mechs around (they were ALL fighting, 5 vs 8), and we attempted to capture. The end result... Nothing. Literally nothing. There was no "Enemy base is being captured," the bar wasn't going down, and we all were having the same problem. None of us were on the same lance or group, and we all attempted to leave the area and return... Still no prevail.
  • Reproduction Rate: Once... So far.
  • Workarround: Currently? Kill the enemy team.

  • Description: during launch an unscheduled updated arrived that was not on the news feed and is now causing a version mismatch problem whenever i ty to log in preventing me from playing btw it worked earlier today before the patch
  • Reproduction Rate: forever on my pc and my brothers happed to him aswell
  • Workarround: none avaliable unless there was a back up stored in the game files looking into thAT OPTION

When switching from the launcher *mechbay/chat* to the main game from getting a *match* If you happen to be alt tabbing or opening a new internet browser it will reset all setting sound volume, basic setting, graphical setting including window and resolution and reset all key bindings. Has happened 3 times this week.

I removed XL engines out of 3 mechs, after saving engines disappeared they were not sold please restore them.

Bug-Weapon group is unable to fire weapons in tandom.
Component: All weapon groups, all weapons
Discription- This has been happening on all my mechs for quite some time, particularly with charge weapons or multi round weapons, such as the gauss rifle or ultra ac 5. I have more then one of these weapons in a group and i set the group to chain fire it will only fire one weapon in that group. It varies from group to group which weapon will work and which wont.

Almost every battle that I view to the end, I get stuck at "Connection" to mechbay after the mach.
I always have to quit the client with the Taskmanager, every single match I dont quit before the end.

This is getting seriously tiresome, since there are a lot of long loads and intros and shit to start the game, and doing that 40-50 times a day is getting the better of me.
