Yes, i know that there's only 3 needed to master, and i just bought another R63 when i already have it.

Buuut i don't want that mess of downgrading to SHS. I find that the SHS is enough for low-heat builds if i ever would run for AC10s and Gauss, and i can get more tonnage out of FFA.

Anyone else did the same too?

EDIT:

I have a question though. I built a Gauss setup for my urbanmech, 858m range too, and i could get out 30 shots out of it, totaling 450 damage. Buuut, that is it. I miss a shot, it does less, i don't miss a shot, it still just 450 damage. I did an awesome game, with 435 damage too, 307 match score, but that is it.

Is 435 damage enough? 30 shots will be useful for the team somehow?

435 damage in an Urbie is good. Especially if those damages were focused on enemy weak points.

300+ Damage with PPFLD Weapons is good. 400+ is great.

Anything less then 900 is a disservice to the chassis. Your matches should all basically resolve like this.

On a more serious note, 400+ is good.

Quit worrying about the thoughts of others. Play the game and be satisfied with the outcome.

You expect me to buy, that a T2 pilot with 672 posts, doesn't know 435 damage in an Urbie is exceptional?

No sale.

And if you actually crit ammo or another gauss rifle, that damage is also included in damage done.

In an urbie, if you can pull 150 without getting instagibbed by double gauss/PPC then I'm impressed. Now, for those numbers..

It makes me wonder how you'd do in a badder or cute fox since they both play like mediums but with far less HP

You're going about this all wrong. Instead of asking yourself if the damage you did was good enough, you should be asking yourself what else you can do? Perhaps that's the limit of the damage you're going to get out of that build. Try using your imagination to think about what else you can do in that urban mech to help the team on top of landing those 30 Gauss shots.

The more you can do for your team, the more success you will have.

When i stay around 800m away, it's not really hard. At least if i wasn't picked by some roaming light.

It's not about the damage you do but the impact you have in the game. Sometimes a player who does 150 damage and dies has a larger impact than a guy who does 800 damage and lives.

It's all about doing your part what ever that may be.
