Awesome work. I could tell what each mech and weapon pod was! I loved legos, but I don't think my imagination ever reproduced things that well. Really awesome mechs there!!

Nice! Well done! Did a similar thing back when the hinged pieces didnt come apart, there were no pieces with a flat side used to cover up the dots and all the legos were a solid color, no see throughs at all unless it was in a windowpane piece.or a windshield. Couldnt pose most of them and they were extremely blocky. Used to do the same thing to make BSG Vipers and Cylon Raiders as well as Xwings/YWings and TIE fighters.

Very Creative! I loved the idea of using them for the tabletop, and losing components. Keep it up.

Time for some new stuff!
I've been using my "searching for a match"-time productively and have been gradually increasing my collection over these last months, so it's time to add some of the new models, starting with:

Mauler:
Note the boy shape, shieldy arm pieces, and those nearly impossible to miss LRM15s sticking out.
And the red. My maulers are red.

Linebacker:
65 tons of Clammy shoulderpadding!
I've gone ahead and made it a bit broader than the MWO model, as I alwas felt they skimped a bit on the 'hunched footballer' characteristic. I particularly like how the legs (weirdly skewed and blocky) and the torso/shoulders turned out...

Huntsman:
I love how this guy looks in MWO, with that typical skewed pyramid-shape in this CT! So I tried to catch that, but by using only the one block for it, it kinda limited the finishing touches. But even though it's kinda too squarish and sort-of missing a cockpit, it's still very much a Huntsman...
(I tried the brawler SRM loadout, but settled on the Gauss Rifle sniper model)

Awesome work!!

After the Stormcrow I decided to see if I could recognize the chassis by the pictures alone. Here's my record:

Jaeger and WHK - perfect

HGN - looks more like an ON1 to me (I guessed wrong)

HBK - guessed right

CN9 - I saw the name first :(

KGC - I guessed wrong (LBK) but after reading the title it made sense :P

SDR - I guessed IFR cuz the blocky torso. but I see where you're going

JR7/LCT - saw the names first, but I LOVE the LCT!!!! JR7 is a good interpretation in that quarter profile shot :)

CAT/MDD - perfect :) But from the back I thought maybe it was the front of an Awesome???

TBR - nice

Urbie - ...what...why is a dead person grabbing urbie's boobies?

MAL - amazing. love the color scheme too :)

LBK - I got it wrong!! I thought maybe Cougar or Nova...

HMN - nice!

Final Count:

9 Correct (Jaeger, WHK, HBK, CAT, MDD, TBR, UM, MAL, HMN)
4 Wrong (HGN, KGC, SDR, LBK)
3 Disqualifieds (CN9, LCT, JR7; plus the AS7, SCR, ADR, CDA from before I started playing the mingame)

Keep up the good work :)

Haha, I can totally understand the Ice Ferret ;)
In fact, it's probably a better fit than the intended spider!

And Urbie Pilots are cruel, relentless killing machines.. but they all enjoy a good laugh!
So why not?
===

Got a few more coming up, but... my brother reclaimed all the pieces!
(Un)fortunately our nephew is almost reaching LEGO-capable ages, so we have to prepare and "make sure the original sets are still complete" ;) ;) ;)

So I've lost all my mechs and building blocks for now.. But I'll be back, probably!

Idk why, but i feel like this one is the best and most accurate one aout of all of them. With so little parts you managed to capture every major design characteristic of this mech, im totally in love with this one Posted Image
