Actually it's more like gold electroplating the mech -- once it gets shot up the gold comes right off and you can see it's just steel underneath.

Besides mine I don't see any. I still take mine out a few times a week but if it was a 'D' variant instead of Prime I'd take it all the time.

I want someone to close this thread, it must be nice to own the gold mech.

It really should be an unlockable to have on any mech though for that price.

I don't use mine because A, I get team killed or shot in the back every single time without fail by someone who thinks they're funny and B, I play different, newer Mechs whenever possible, because C: it's a Light. Also, D, I stopped playing MWO due to most Lights continually getting the shaft from the devs.

Just a few days ago I updated it saying it was a long time I haven't seen one and just now I see this thread discussing gold mechs!

I regret to inform you that these sightings will be much more common, and less interesting since I've been playing my TW (G) almost exclusively as of late (due to the retirement of my true love, the Jester).

Wow, really you have a Gold light? That's awesome!

I'm not killed every single time I play my TW(G); although I was deliberately teamkilled recently by some jerk who apparently didn't like the decal I put on it. Alright, so my Gold is no longer pure; infected by a decal, but that's no reason to outright shoot me in the back and claim "you deserved it".

I'd name the bugger, but I know all to well not to name and shame, lest I lose my post altogether

In all honesty I wish that the Gold Khan Campaign would be re-launched every so often so I could eventually collect them all!

It would be nice to do it just to let others have the chance to participate in the blatant funding campaign that it is though.
And there should be Gold Generals for the Inner Sphere so we can see some Gold Atlas's and Gold King Crabs on the Battlefield battling Gold Dire Wolves!

What I do is immediately get behind everyone. This I think is partially what has prevented me from being being a 'target of opportunity' for TKers.

The people that had the money and were around at that time no longer play MWO for reason probably fairly obvious. I dont think I have been in a match yet where people aren't complaining about MWO and the direction PGI is taking it and how in a short time there wont be a PGI and this game that we have all spent quite alot of money on will be dead.
