So I quit playing almost 2 years ago because the mechlab didn't allow me to save configurations unless I had the mech fully equipped (i.e. bought everything for each separate configuration). What I want is what we had in all previous Mechwarrior games (the online versions). 1 click to choose what mech configuration I wanted to use. I enjoy building mechs, but I don't enjoy rebuilding them again and again.

I also liked the ability to choose the map I wanted to play with the mech I wanted to use on that map. However, the mechlab being such a pain was what made me really leave the game.

So can I strip a mech or mechs and then click on the configuration I want to use from saved builds or is it still more than 3-4 clicks?

Still no saved loadouts but you can strip mechs quickly with the strip button. You can also save mechs without a fully fleshed out loadout (hasn't this always been the case). Even omninechs can be saved without a single omnipod but, these obviously can't be taken into a match.

Thank you for saving me the time of those crazy long patches.

Thank you, as I told the other poster. I won't be downloading those huge patches for this game then.
