Hi. New to the MWO community/game but no stranger to the Battletech universe. I've played the board game for the last 15yrs with my Uncle and always really loved big mechanical behemoth's tearing each other apart with lasers, missiles and other assorted artillery, even if only in my imagination while playing the board game.

While I'm new to MWO, I'm not new to gaming in general. I've played many MMORPG's over the years, most specifically of course, WoW. I'm currently in a Top 100 US raiding guild with the most difficult content on farm. While I do know that MMORPG's are a bit different than this, there are some similarities. I somewhat attribute the MWO drops to being like a PVP battleground in WoW. Communication is key.

I'm looking to play with others, where we can communite with voice and stomp together. While I cannot spend the money to buy months of premium time and clan mechs, I do know how to grind and I can do it well enough to equip my mech as such. I am currently running a HGN-733C, felt the most fun when trying the different Assault's out. I do enjoy Assault mech's in general, it's what I've always run while playing the board game. I've sup'd it up a bit over the last week and really love the gameplay. Their may be better options, but I do enjoy this a bit. I'm not 100% sure how they've translated the different mech's into an online world.

I have a beast rig, headset and stable internet. I know the in's and out's of teamwork and communication. I may be rusty on some of the protocol of the war on the battlefield but I'm quick to learn. If anyone is interested in having me be apart of their Clan so we can destroy on the battlefield as one, reply to this thread and we can see how we work as a team.

Hey Moon! Welcome to MWO! As you can see there are several great units here that have good people and are actively looking for more good folks to bolster their ranks.

My first suggestion would be to post in this thread http://mwomercs.com/...94-hiring-hall/ It was built so that this forum didn't fill up with hundreds of posts like this and a new one like yours get lost and never get any attention. The groups that are actively recruiting will see your post there. Many will even send you PM's.

Next take a short cruise around this particular branch of the forum. And don't limit yourself to the first page only. Like I said LOTS of groups are recruiting. Look at their recruitment posts take a look at their websites. Narrow your search down then hop on what every voice com program they use and hang out with them a bit. Find a group that you are comfortable with and have fun. In the end thats what it is all about.

Good luck on your search I can only imagine how tough it will be as there are many good units out there.

Hi Moon! MuFasa's suggestion above is an excellent one, and I encourage you to use it. That being said, I also want to invite you to check out my Unit, The Wolf Brigade! Our website is here: http://jin-roh.enjin.com/

It'd be awesome if you joined up! Submit an app today! :)
