The Ost-series. They're like the Urbanmech's chubby cousin.

More from the robotech crossoverrrrrr Still, those would be satisfying to shoot, don't you think?

Yes the Ostscout is bad, but the Ostwar, Ostsol and Ostroc are all kind of mean for their weight...

Oh most definitely! I'd love watching them explode from a couple of Gauss hits.

I wouldn't know! I've never played the TT.

Once again, I wouldn't know. The only one I'd be worried to fight is the Ostsol, but given what we have in-game, if I was in my Summoner and saw a stock Ostol I wouldn't really be so worried.

5M is more in-line with our timeline it was made in 3058, and it has Large pulse and medium pulse.

In regards to TT, there is two Tech 1 IaS mechs I would be concerned about facing in a Summoner....

1.) WHM-6R Warhammer
2) AWS-8Q Awesome

Even normal PPC'S can bring the pain to Clan Tech, and well the Summoner Prime has ammo problems...

The problem with those mechs is you would need favorable terrain, the Summoner is good on any map. Also if you lost initiative over and over with those IS mechs the summoner would each you alive with its JJ. You would need to win initiative every round.

Not every round, maybe 50% of the rounds... provided the map is not a city map... But the point I was making that with a Summoner Prime, those are the only two tech level 1 IS mechs I would be slightly consider about facing off against. Only because they have 2+ PPC's and can sustain a decent RoF with them in TT.

Mad II 4-A is what I would take because of the Jumpjets.

The old designs are by far the ugliest mechs in the whole BT universe^^.

Alone for that, i would possibly buy a Ost-Package (scout, sol, roc, war...)

Why did it take 17 hours for someone to point that out?

I wouldn't mind seeing some ost-series mechs. Ostscout is basically 35 ton spider so it would be needlessly huge, but all ost heavies have very good geometry for this game. Ostroc, Ostsol and Ostwar have some high energy torso mounts too so they wouldn't be that bad.

Besides crusader ostroc/ostsol is a heavy I would like to see next, but we haven't gotten lights in years so those first please.

In my defense, I noticed it shortly after this thread was posted, I just wanted somebody ELSE to say something. I tried!
