yw,

MechWarrior has always been very popular. Microsoft bought it and then couldn't figure out what to do with it and so they just sat on it for 10 years. Something an 800 pound gorilla does very well. Any other publisher/producer would have had 5-7 titles out in that time, but because Microsoft is supposed to know what they are doing it was assumed by the world outside MechWarrior that the game was done.

Actually MechWarrior has the best game attributes to utilize the computer. You pilot a future machine in a sci-fi universe that you build yourself in Mechlab. Theoretically you also travel across the stars to do this, but so far players have had a very limited set of tools to do this part. MechWarrior has been waiting on the graphics and technology to bring all this to life and that day might be here soon. It's time for MechWarrior to come to life.

All founders are elitist b**tards that hang on like an anchor dragging MWO down with their demands of TT on PC.
Move out of the basement in your parents house already, BT is dead and nobody likes it.

Yeah, every time I hear that phrase, I just start hearing static in my head instead of actually reading what that sentence turns into.

LOL! That's almost the exact same thing that now happens whenever I hear or see it: static in my brain.

i have never regretted any of my purchases for MWO
i cherish them all

but when i saw Russ sit down and play MW5
with lushly detailed hanger, with glorious open spaces, with infantry and tanks under foot
all beautifully rendered by UT4

it was like the value of everything i have done was doubled, like a faith rewarded

Project Franchise Revival has been a success

Thanks from me as well. Im low income so often the online games I can play, are free to play. MWO definetly seems great compared to other similiar games, specially the playerbase being way much older than average.

I was a skeptic and did not become a founder. I just bought a couple Mechs and played a little, was not impressed and did not come back for over 4 years. Now, I am very grateful to the founders that invested in the game. The game did not turn out to be what everyone hoped it would be. However, it did turn out to be a very good Mech arena shooter that has spurred interest in the entire MechWarrior/BattleTech franchise to the point that we will soon have 3 BT/MW games to enjoy in a couple years.

I am a HBS BT Backer and I will pre-order my copy of Mechwarrior 5 Mercenaries the minute the option becomes available.

Thank you, Founders!

I tried to find an old image that just said "You're going to get banned.", but instead I found a specific scene of a manga I read once where a child murderer gives a ****ed up smile to the main character, who's a child he's about to attempt to murder. You win this round. Now people should continue praising founders.

The image, if you want to see a creepy-*** smile.

Tier 4

Thanking me for more than generously funding PVE when my intent was to fund a CW based game made me just throw up in my mouth just a bit.

Around $90 dollars here, for the content and depth we have been given (or lack of), I would say my money spent was fair. 3 years of playtime here.
