whats going to happen to my skill tree progress when 4.1 rolls around? in most factions i have not gone beyond rank 6, except steiner where im a hauptmann, and merc where im 20k or so from mech bay #3 (i dont remember what number). are these getting reset? are we going to a different tree system? what is this going to look like?

I don't see why any of this would be changed. PGI is still pretending that factions matter, so if they feel factions need not be adjusted then no need to reset or modify the loyalty/reputation trees. Moreover, as far as I know they have not indicated in any of the NGNG podcasts, past town halls, at mechcon, or Russ's tweets any intention to change this aspect of the mode. In essence 4.1 is adding QP maps and reducing the buckets but no substantive changes beyond that.

well i hope thats true, these trees are taking forever to navigate with phase3 reward hits and id hate to have to go back to square one on some of these. of course with loyalist being in such a low place right now they could probibly go to a single tree system across the board, average out your progress and place you somewhere on the tree accordingly, considering lesser prizes "already won" and further prizes available from that point on. individual trees for each faction seem like a larger source of problems and arent really providing the incentive to put in the games. frankly people should be playing because they like the mode, not because they have been bribed to.

The only trees that are being affected are the SKILL trees. Your reputation grinds will be the same still.

Are those new trees destructible ones too? Will lasers finally damage them too?

Wait... have I been doing this wrong the entire time? I thought the point of FW was try to knock down as many trees as you can before the enemy team destroys your mechs? FW stands for "Forest Wrath" does it not?
