i think my best game was 600+ match score. of course i dont usually take screencaps of my scoreboard. im not that narcissistic. that win kicked me up the leaderboard a lot.

looks like im ending in 49th place. had i read the rules for the leaderboard sooner and saw that first 25 people get a mech bay, i think id have put in more effort. i think im urbied out for now.

Ended up 36th on the K9 leaderboard and I wasn't spamming double strikes like I'm sure a lot of people were. Also I don't think I had more than 25 games or so in this thing. Had to spend time making sure I hit Top 50 on the Grasshopper and Grinner. Give me all the dog tags and warhorns, plox. Kthanks! /humblebrag

Now do that on a heavy ballistic build. Preferably AC5 or UAC5, AC10 or LB10X if you're kind of a masochist. AC20 if you're godly.

What is it with you and ballistics on the Urbie, Messenger?

Honestly, I would. But I only started playing this game in January, so I didn't get the gazillion General Skill Points like all you old timers did. So when I want to change up the skill tree on a mech it hurts real bad.

Because that's the shtick of the Urbanmech. Based on lore, it's that light mech that packs the big gun.

with the armor quircks it basicly a light played as medium (speed) or a reverse cicada.

Honestly my best game to this day was with my STD155 build, AC5 and 2 ML's - something like 700 damage and 3 kills. Was just one of those magical games where every shot connected, limbs were falling like leaves and I was constantly 3rd priority on any enemy radar - no way in hell could I do it again.

I dont look at scores thouigh my 2 outstanding games out of ~22.000 games played probably had have a low score bcs low damage.
In one game i did 2 kills with ~70 damage and in the other game i did 3 kills with ~90 damage - thats my ideal of a game - do as little damage as possible to win yet matchscore is damagebound.
