or not?

KDK-3 with 2 X UAC 10/5 is becoming a bit frustrating between the jamming/cooldowns...

Might this be any better (jamming less of an issue & dmg boost), even though not ideally synced?

2 X LPL + 2 X UAC 10

Thanks.

Got a teammate who swears by that build, but runs it on the KDK-4 so it's asymmetric.

I have tried it and it is bad. Cant get the shots off in time or enough damage out in small windows.

Couple of my teammates PUGged in it early on and liked it well enough, but it never really made comp sense, so nobody stuck with it.

I was doing dual Guass/UAC/10 at one point. It's not bad. I added a set of four lasers to preguide the shot and chainfire while I let off ammo. It's a lot like quad UAC/10. Less ammo though.

Quad UAC/10 is still good though. I have this version:

Death Bear

The lasers help give something to do besides the UAC/10 and keep the DPS up.(Chainfired usually)

If you want a real challenge though. This is cheap and fun to learn to think out enemy positions and learn not to get hit. It racks up high damage if you can pull it off.

I was looking at Kodiak builds (to pair with mastering MAD-IICs) as I don't own them yet. And I did put together a functional quad gauss build. Sort of. Quad Gauss KDK-3. Slow as hell, but 60 damage per shot and 32 quad shots worth of ammo. You could replace 3 tons of ammo for a TC3 and drop down to 25 quad shots. 60 damage per use is nothing to sneeze at. Nasty sniper build if you can make it work. Personally I think any quad gauss build is just a tad to slow (below Direwhale speeds) and I wouldn't go below 25 shots worth of ammo.

KDK-3 with 2X UAC10/5 works just fine with some backup lasers. Just a matter of pacing and position.
Just had this match tonight (would have had more kills but lost some sinks and overheated so teammates took over).

You're right. Have been playing the double UAC 10/5 like a full out brawler.. After adjusting play style, gameplay improved noticeably. Still needs work but getting there. Thanks
