I'm hoping that the "reports directly to Paul and Russ" part doesn't mean that The Nerfinator can override the new guy's changes.

Obviously any one reporting to someone else is lower on the power chain and can be over ridden. I am assuming that this new person is tasked with teasing their collected game data for trends and trying to analyze the information for useful change implication.

Which is not a bad thing by any means. I kinda thought they were already doing that in fact...but who knows.

Every time the Piranha is mentioned, I hear one of those anti-missile/fighter miniguns on aircraft carriers firing in my head. It makes me happy.
