Will not be much use to a loyalist clan unit with IS mechs. Consider buying real mechs....

The trials can put up a decent fight if you can run them well, but owning your own is preferable as well. The jenner and highlander trials are both great, and the mediums and heavies are all at least decent.
R79T will encourage you to get mostly clan mechs since we tend to do FP whenever possible and are a clan loyalist unit, but if you want to drop a king crab in quicks, go for it. If you can make a mech work well for you, we don't care.
