I was just thinking of something that could be really really usefull:

It would start with having a basic API to work the Mech Hanger, even when not in the game. Probably starting with a simplified web Interface to manage inventory, Mech Lab and the coming skill tree.

Next step would be the implementation of an iPad/Android Tablet app, although it might be good to make it mandatory to have an online connection.
