I had some fun games with the Escort. Its quite a team dependent mode. People need to talk to each other, scout, make distractions and so on.
Sure it dosn't work well on some maps but overall, if you have people willing to work together instead of handling it as another skirmish mode, its a mode that works bettern then I have expected.

Still if you just nascar or not coordinate at least a little you will die like a snowflake....but then this happens in skirmish too.

I do appreciate that PGI is trying to come up with different scenarios. With that said
Domination and Escort are not fun and I find more annoying. Vip is slow and stupid
and domination I lets all run to the center in open terrain. Now that I cant opt out
of these I don't play very often anymore.

Any answers to this? When was last time you've seen Escort mode in Quick Play / Group Queue? Was it pushed back because of bug?

I see it every day. Including today. It's just that, like Incursion, very few people ever vote for it. You'll only play an Escort match once in a blue moon, Incursion a little more frequently.

Okay, thanks for clarification. In last few days I did nearly 100 QP/GQ games and haven't see single Escort in mode selection. I had nearly x20 multiplier just to vote it but it just never appeared.

The paths need cleaning up so the VIP doesn't get stuck so often.

The head of the VIP needs more armor because everyone knows where it is.

The VIP needs a little more speed because a lone light mech can core out its back quite quickly and it would help force the defending team to push.



Escort is worse than incursion and incursion is rarely voted for, the main thing is that the VIP is super slow so PUGs will run off to fight instead of escorting it.


RIght now I cringe whenever someone wastes their 5+ multiplier on Escort and I cringe again when I end up on the defending side.

I guess you should learn mode instead of complaining. Been told by old players that it was exactly same with Conquest and Domination when they were introduced to game. Scroll topics back to see how people cried by then, it's still on forums.
