I'm kinda liking the mode so far; it requires some different tactics from other modes, and because the objective of the mode is constantly moving, static battles simply don't happen (or if they do, it is only temporary for a few minutes).

As for players playing badly... well, potatoes will be potatoes. Accept that fact and take advantage of it.

I posted this somewhere else but just had a match which ended in about 3 minutes. The Defenders wanted nothing to do with the Atlas and lost quickly.

So for my nice wait time of about 5-10 minutes... I get a crap match again. Wonderful.

Yeah, the game I played had a roving firefight over Grim Plexus. Was pretty cool.

It adds a lot of dynamic stuff to the game mode which is nice!

can we get rid of all this ECM on the field?

LRM boats are even more useless than usual in this mode.

and not do anything but turtle. Just had a escort on crimson tide. The VIP took the tunnel... it walked around 7 guys clustered at the tunnel exit afraid to break out together when the enemy team was split. And I have a hard time believing the three guys with founders tags were anything other than T1/T2s... and they were being cowards also. Has the player quality just gone out the window ?

We're are sorry, oh great one, that we do not live up to your expectations. In the future, perhaps we can play with you. Then you can lead us all to victory with your great and vast knowledge.

If by "pro" people mean "farmer", then it's no wonder why MWO gameplay is in the sorry state it is in right now. The Spartans figured out millennia ago that farmers do not make soldiers as good as those raised and bred to actually be one.

And then there was a man named Gaius Marius born several hundred years later ...

??????

The "goal" of MWO is to farm as much damage as possible to get max cbills and XP, other behaviors are never rewarded so why engage in them?

That may be your goal, and that may also be so for many others.

I, on the other hand, play to win, or die trying. <shrugs>

Winning is pointless unless you get paid.
