What kind of potatoes did you get to farm? Russet?
You'll never believe me, but everyone in that match except on person pulled at least 200 damage and a lot of people were sitting on 300-500. It was a good game.

Before everyone realizes that there are 2-3 super awesome sauce builds and then everything gets homogenized.
I'm seeing people boating SPLs, running SRMs + LBX, gauss + er ppc, lasers + uacs, LRMs, streaks, just about everything you can think of.

Last night they we extremely resilient, a definite challenge to kill due to how easy they spread damage between sections and front/rear armor. Not OP imo but solid.

I don't think we are going to see those 2-3 super awesome builds because the MAD-IIC is pretty versatile. I have all seven variants and not one is identical and all seem to be doing about equally well with the build I have installed.

I read the thread title and decided to respond to something someone else said. We all know it is an old joke.

Got ironic sass.
Largely satisfied. Largely. Just a twitch too obvious there though, Mole. Gotta put more frothing nerdrage in your title; a flat "[Mech] DOA" is too easy to spot as ironic sass from nothing but the topic list. Something like 'OMG the Marauder IIC is garbage" or "Marauder IIC refund?" would better fit the beardly tradition.

MAD-IIC - 10 Matches average damage 438, KDR 3.25
MAD-IIC-D - 13 Matches average damage 502, KDR 1.63
Scorch - 12 Matches average damage 514 KDR 1.38
The basic model has a 8/2 W/L ratio, which is probably why it's damage isn't particularly high while it has a massive KDR. The D and Scorch both have negative W/L ratios which is holding their KDR down. Scorch in particular is 2/10, thus the lowest KDR number for my best performer.

It comes down to isolating hitboxes. They spread damage really well through their torsos. But just watch the readout.. if they're moving around pretty quickly and are carrying a pretty whacky loadout in terms of weight, try the legs..

I just aim for the big bubble head. It counts as CT and gives you something to keep track of while you're aiming and while they're twisting. Plus you might get lucky and headshot them.

They're godly at spreading damage, it's nearly impossible to just CT core them. They don't even have to really twist to do it, just face the enemy and wiggle around a little. I think everyone's damage numbers are higher since they launched simply because of what it takes to put down the massive hordes of 85 ton damage spreaders that are in the field now.

Speaking to the "no hit bubbles" that I identified on another thread, just to provide clarification and aid in further testing this is part of what I posted elsewhere:

Using the autism build of twin LBX20's and quad SRM4's. Maximum potato.
