Can't Launch A 6 Person Group - No Button

The Group Launch button disappears once we get more than 4 players in the group.

We definitely have Invasion (not Scouting), and the correct Faction, selected.

Bizarre.

Your first mech in your dropdeck, its tonnage is being applied toward QP tonnage rules.

There is an official post on it, just select a light or medium in your DD slot 1.

Todays hotfix will fix it.

Took us forever last night to try and get a full 12man, but eventually did.

One thing we can say for sure, PGI does not have more then 12 QA or this would have been found first drop.

It is because your group tonnage is greater than the allowed tonnage for QP Group drops. For what ever reason that restriction was left in place for FP as well. So if your group would select a lighter mech to get into the queue, you can then select a different mech once you are placed into the match maker. After the searching circle animation.

The hotfix is supposed to address this. It was the biggest annoyance we had last night. Enough players to drop 2 12-mans, but had to do Mech selection calculus to be above minimum and below maximum QP tonnage as people came and went.

That's not it. There's only three of us in the group now, all in Lights, and we still can't drop.

I've also tried heavying up a little, in case we were under-tonnage, and it still won't drop.

Verify slot one of everyones drop deck, needs to be a light or medium.

Might have picked up someone new to the group that may have not rebuilt.

Now that is very odd Appogee! Every time we had that problem, were able to track down to DD issue.

Hope the hotfix fixes all these things. Pain in the *** to jump through hoops to form groups in the group queue.

Yeah, totally weird.

We all kept changing Mechs and decks and after 10 minutes of messing around we were finally able to drop.

I still don't know what magic formula worked in the end.

Assuming the hotfix does not get delayed again, this should be fixed this evening. In the meantime, the formula is based on QP group queue tonnage limits (both minimum and maximum). Your problem with the group of 3 having selected lights is that you may have still been under the minimum of 80 tons.
