I have been trying to get my foot in the door of Faction Play for a while, but dropping into a pick-up game with strangers going up against expert players is daunting.
I understand that Faction Play isn't for noobs, but it seems unplayable for post-noobs like myself. To solve this, I want to play multiple games with the same people (and who have some experience to share) in a group.
Is there a place, like a TeamSpeak server, that have people showing up for Faction Play to drop together with? I don't necessarily want to join a unit, just to start playing with some regulars and get to know people, and learn some things along the way.

FRR/Kurita is on the same hub.
Best place to start if you are IS.

i highly reccommend doing the friday night drops with isen, also hang out in the longships and actively look for a group, you can learn a heck of a lot if you stick with it, just remember its going to be like the original learning curve to learn to play mwo, and itll be frustrating at first. just stay positive. also, go try the clans at least once before choosing were you want to be. you might find you like them more, and if you dont, then you get the experience of having a deeper understanding of what they can do and what they cant do.

Definitely look into the FRR/Kurita Teamspeak server if you are IS. There are units at all levels, and in FP nothing beats learning by listening and watching.
