1. FW needs a waiting room/lobby when 12 mans are stacking up instead of the spinning search wheel. If it updated the tug of war and scouting status in real time, even better.

2a. Sat sweeps, etc. no longer pop every two minutes because it was tied to long tom. Frequency should be brought back to every 2 min.

2b. I didn't hear it last night, but I had heard it previously, the audio when scouting reaches level 3 still mentions artillery, and doesn't mention radar jamming.

3. Conquest requires a VERY different drop deck than all other modes.

4. The IS can win, provided we lock all of our pugs in the dropship, whoop the clan pugs every time, and split matches with clan groups.

5. FW can be fun when it is groups with drop callers playing groups with drop callers. FW really needs a solid barrier to entry, to protect it from itself. The popup warning simply is not sufficient to deter pugs from entering.

6. Command wheel could really use a "Regroup here" command

7. When respawning, you very much need to be able to move yourself between locations and not rely on whomever may or may not have command. Old issue, but more relevant than ever with smaller maps and conquest in the mix.

Edits for additions:

8. Rouken Vordermark--There appears to be no indication of which side is attacking or defending for Invasion mode.

As to point 5 I think removing the call to arms would do wonders. Imagine being a newbie on your first day and that pops up...

Good point. Call to arms has outlived it's original purpose, though it does still serve lone wolves in some way.

It was a topic of discussion even back in Phase 1, where being able to select dropzones were necessary given the incoming force may be ontop of a dropzone.

Apparently coding this is totally Lostech... even just adding an additional dropzone (not initial, but for subsequent drops) has not been a consideration in any form.

I guess this issue will linger on anyways.

My biggest beef with this is the coding exists, but is limited to whomever has command, and only if they reorganize the lances while in the battlegrid. THE CODE EXISTS. It's a user interface problem.

One person shouldn't have that control (mostly because they would likely be too busy doing something else) and it that control should be relegated to the player that is respawning without needing to move people between lances to do so (there will be issues with 5 or more people respawning at the same time picking the same dropzone location, but that's solvable IMO).

It's one of those things that still gets skipped over for whatever random reason.

Other than locking g pugs away from the game mode making it much harder to recruit players into units maybe fix the game.

There definitely needs to be some kind of progression to get into CW..
And playing in as unit should be more strongly encouraged somehow.

#7 is really good, but a good addition would be the ecm towers from escort being placed in the spawns. that would let you know what dropzone is safe, and alerts your team that your spawn is about to get *****. maybe a turret or 2 in front of the entrances as well.

I've been an advocate of scouting requiring tier 4+ and 100 drops and all other FW requiring tier 3+ and 250 drops.

Something I've noticed, or maybe I'm just not seeing it, is that there appears to be no indication of which side is attacking or defending for Invasion mode. Would be nice to have that information as I might want to to bring different decks accordingly.

Yeah, but we were able to figure that out during the 10 minute timer before.

i cant even gonna begin to describe some of the potato builds ive seen from the clanners side myself. erll, lbx2, mpl kit fox sound good to you? yet i dont sit here and assume all clanners are clueless, because i understand that there are idiots everywere, on all sides, and that not everyone is that dumb.

your generalizations are making me seriously doubt that theory right now.

Please add

"when alt tabbed out of game and your quickplay queue pop's the mwo icon starts flashing in windows toolbar, so you alt tab quick and help select map and mode, then alt tab back to forum reading, then when game starts little icon starts flashing again to alt tab back into game. In Faction Play it doesnt start flashing to tell me a match has been found select your dropdeck quickly !, only starts flashing once in game."

"need to make dropdeck selection another minute longer, for being stuck in a game for 30 minutes, a little longer to make sure you have the correct mechs seems reasonable"

"Sorry pgi 3rd time not lucky, your alpine peaks domination location still sux very 1 sided"

"Add a Capital world SUPER CITY with skyscrapers that make mechs look the size of toy cars for a full brawl map (would help balancing IS vs Clan) Use New York or London as the Basis to have a large park in the middle full of trees and landmarks so its still brawl."

To the list of issues, thanks.

We learned that under the current system a faction requires an absurdly lop sided win rate to even progress the bar past 2-3 phases. I know the match works out that only a small advantage would be needed over a butt-load of matches, but the number of matches actually happening isn't enough to meet that.

It seems the more balanced the mode gets the less game modes we are getting to play. Its annoying to have to wait until the end of an attack phase just to get to play Invasion matches. PGI really needs to mix up the game modes throughout the attack phase, otherwise eventually we will only be playing Skirmish.

Lol 100 drop of scouting would turn anyone away from the mode.

You're still grouping people Into the same 'if new they suck'.

Or better yet give everyone 10 tons because they're training.
How about this, make a cool down for anyone who can't make 500 dmg in a match because it's not just new people.
