This could be even more interesting if you have to get new parts... But that would be going to far until the game is more advanced I assume. Or is this already take into account sufficiently.
So basically, what is lying dead on the battle field is looted basically. This would add a lot of diversity to end match loot etc. Different match types have varrying outcome etc. Maybe non skirmish wins get bonsuses cbills and extra bonuses for time completed while other matches get naturally more loot. Could be nice for people at different levels in the game. End game people might like getting bonuses more and beginners loot. It would certainly make matches more unique.
Maybe a loot window with your winnings and the option to quick sell etc. Or click items and say what you want to keep and sell etc. Maybe even repair options for items.. At this point you could do the same for your mechs own damage/equipment.
They could add alot of the RPG elements in this game to hash it out and give it more character.
Edit: Another idea that could go with this. Radomly they could change it so loot actually drops keys also. At a smaller rate than drop boxes(maybe with a better chance on victory), and then add unique items to drop boxes you can't get anywhere else. Then you either wait for keys or buy them to get unique items. Then you don't just have to get keys from MC purchases or wait for rare events.
Edit2: They could also have it so you only get loot on victory! Then you loose more on loss. This would help get people to want to work together more vigorously and possible get more team work in game. Then you get smaller bonuses for losses.
