The First drop is arguably one the most important drops in Faction Warfare. But there is a problem. Currently everyone experiences their first drop with a lack of information on what mech to choose and where to deploy. I'll explain what I mean.

Combat ID is only effective during drops 2-4.

Players cannot use the Combat ID information for their first drop. They have to choose their first drop before the match officially happens. A better time to choose would be during the actual match itself; since the Combat ID information is only available for the duration of the match. The Combat ID function is only useful 3/4 times.

A simple solution is to give players some time to pick their first mech right after the match is about to begin. Not during the faction warfare queue lobbies.

Players will have difficulty changing their drop location.

The drop location is determined by lances. If players need a different drop location, they have to switch lances, and this is by far; is highly demanding of a drop commander. Even if someone takes command to switch the lances manually. The commanders are facing a lot of burden.

The drop commander has to know where every drop zone is located on every map. They have to constantly track who has died, who is in a dangerous drop zone, who is about to drop, and where they should drop.

The commander have to do all these things while in the middle of fighting. It becomes a burden to strategically switch players to their appropriate drop locations. Now, there isn't a single solution to solve every problem but I will provide a list of suggestions.

1. Allow a choice for players to choose which lance they are assigned to before the match happens. For this to work, players need to be informed of their drop locations on the battlefield before the game session starts.

2. If a player has lost a mech; they are given an option to delay their drop sequence so that they are given extra time to switch lances and mechs.

3. Display drop locations on the map and list them as Alpha, Bravo, or Charlie.

4. A request feature to enables players the ability to transfer into a different lance without the permission of a drop commander.
