Oh right, I forgot PGI can't figure out how to get a mech 5kph faster than the Commando/Locust in-game without breaking hitreg. And it's not like the Fire Moth has nostalgia value or anything (MW2 tutorial, anyone?)

Then let it run just 171.1kph like the old deaths kneel. Not that big of a difference. SMN for example is slightly faster then it should be, no problem with a dasher being slightly slower (it's still the fastest mech in the game then).

Be nice to see some feed back from the Devs on the Firemoth.
It is a tonnage that is noticeably missing on the clan side.
I know there were some reasons around the Firemoth not being introduced due to it's potential top speed.
But given the way MASC works in MWO, the reduction of the speed tweak bonus and improvements to net code... I wonder where this stands right now?

Maybe after the game switches to the U4 engine we will finally get the Firemoth.
