The only thing I dislike is the Hero. It makes no sense. Twin UAC 20 in the arms? That is no where near a Supernova. That is just a clan Crab....dumb.

Nope. I already bought into the Marauder IIC and I think it is going to be a better mech. The Marauder IIC is only 5 tons lighter, can mount up to a 400XL for excellent speed and agility and near the same hardpoint options.

King Crab, which it mimics almost perfectly, as well as having crab colors and the name 'Boiler', definitely intentional. Boiler will probably be a better Kingcrab than the Kingcrab is though because of clan tech, at least once you can afford to mod it up a little, like drop in a new XL engine.

That, and dual UAC-20s are terrible.

It probably needs over 10 tons of ammo to make it last a match. and a range of UAC-quirks to make up for the fact it has a low effective brawling DPS compared to lasers and is utterly trash against fast mechs.

I solo killed a dual UAC-20 EBJ in a >100m brawl with a dual gauss CTF. That says it all really.

At least this is what I'm thinking now.
We'll see all the Kanajashis and GMans opinions as well as the blueprints before end of the PO period.

Another reason speaking against preordering are the still-useless PO rewards.

I think after the Marauder IIC my wallet will be closed.. Too much disappointments with faction warfare with over 4 years of them trying to get it right (not holding my breath) but going to see how the phase (what phase is it now? I lost count) 4 I guess goes then decide on if my wallet is going to open or not...

I dont know just on a wait and see mode right now...

Nope, already waiting for the Marauder IIC, and frankly, I wasn't too interested in the Supernova to begin with.
It does look awesome though.
