I've been using this source on clan stuff. Its from the 90s, so you know its legit.

Turn em off? ...
you can do that? thanks - now so glad I brought it up.
Ideally though we would just have better in-game comms chatter. The environment would be more immersive and taste more real. It's easy to forget the human element of 31st century combat. It's impersonal when you are simply seeing these awesome war machines and not being reminded they are piloted by very brave human beings...
I really hope the devs see this and take the suggestion in good spirit. Nothing is ever perfect the first time you make it. At the end of the day we are concerned because we care - and are also willing to pay to participate

It is my understanding that the Clans pirmarily speak English (Only speak English?) so I found it amusing that the Clan announcer had a sort of foreign / Russian accent. Is it not the Inner Sphere that is composed of a multitude of languages? Seems it would fit them better.
That being said this is low priority im sure for the devs.

Not quite correct. In the BT & MW books - Clan characters would often switch between English and German, French and from memory some of the Nordic languages. English was common. I believe the Clan Spoke Jaguar spoke quite a bit of German. Less important here though given that most of the player base is english-speaking; and again, a simple optional perference and a few more voice-actors would help.

I'm just gonna leave this here. This is nice "clannish" chatter.
(Hey lookie, even in MW2 the Kodiak is shielding his CT.

yes sir - that cinematic was one of the best. I still get a shiver watching it now and it's 20 years old.

I don't know, man.
The clans seem to love being angry, especially the crusaders. Reading about the Falcons and the Smoke Jags gave me papercuts from all that edge.
So long as they're taking care not to use contractions and incorporating some clan dialect like "Stravag" and Quiaff/Quineg, I think they'd do a decent job.

true enough some of the crusader clans accomplished some very vile deeds; but should this precipitate into cartoonishly evil sounding in-game voices? I think not. What did the German army sound like during the battle of the bulge? I am guessing probably just more like people at the time. History is written by the victor. The morality of anything before the point of omniscient hindsight is a bit more complex to decipher.. I still think that military discipline and honourable combat would colour the sound more than any wider more immoral political ends. Think of Trent (Howell bloodline) in Exodus Road - and the handful of good souls still left among the ranks of Clan Smoke Jaguar. What about their voices?
Hence I agree with voice packs. Options.
