1,000 is quite standard number for factory minimum order, any less you will have to do it at a print shop in some mall.

Yeah, I don't understand these prices at all. Are these items factory-made from China or hand-woven in Switzerland?

Oh well. At least it should let us rather easily count how many Battletech whales are still online.

It's so weird that people keep bring up pricing. The statue is a borderline bargain, even before considering it's hand painted and involves paying both Topps and PGI for licensing, and the rest of the items fall in line with the cost of most video game merchandise that hasn't reached Wal-Mart levels of penetration (Halo and Nintendo and the like).

Sure, it's expensive, but all this **** from anybody is. Why are people treating it like it's atypical?

They same reason they get upset when PGI makes a balance pass over 'Mechs that have been labeled as overperformers after they purchased them based on that performance: they don't understand the system, nor do they care to.

Making a mold is costly, the price goes up if there are alot of fine details.
A quick search on alibaba for custom 10 inch resin figure, shows manufacturing cost at $20~$50 a piece before shipping. (or licensing cos lol china)

Yet still not matching the details seen on the Atlas.

Prices less than ideal, but seen worse. US dollar little too strong to consider that Atlas though.

As a fan of a less popular faction (ComStar) the voting aspect is the biggest killer. Little to no chance I'll get any merch I desire

pre-ordered a Liao hoodie.
Holding back on the banners, want to know the size and material before buying.

Plus Christmas, New Year, Chinese New Year and my oversea holiday coming up in spring, money is really tight.

Polyester. About... 4x2 foot.

I like mine, though 17 bucks per is a bit steep unless you absolutely want the entire set.

Ordered the Clan banners and 2 hoodies, might order another hoodie, pricing isn't bad its just the order numbers and less than a month to get it done that makes me go :S
