So in new "Skill Tree" will you be able to set custom quirks for every Omni Pod independently, or only for whole mech?
Cause if via new "Skill Tree" it will be possible set custom quirks for every Omni Pod independently it will make "Omni Mechs Greate Again".
Cause now after release of MAD IIC (clan BattleMech), clan OmniMechs kinda dimmed out.
Clan BattleMech according to BT Lore should be second line reserve mech, and be worse than OmniMech in every way. But in MWO it seems Clan BattleMech is better than Clan OmniMech.
Pretty sure it will be for the whole mech. Being a "per-omnipod" affair would be extremely complicated, and dear lord we don't want PGI messing with things that get really complicated with their coding history. It's easier for everyone involved for it to stay simple. I mean, imagine a new player trying to figure out how a skill system for every omnipod. That would be "fun".
i just picked up a warhawk prime (on sale) using a mostly stock build (i took out the lrm10, added armor and reduced the targeting computer to a class 3 and added heatsinks). thing is still pretty brutal.

Just watch this video and read comments
I dont need to watch that video to know that the Marauder craps all over the warhawk in everything but PPCs. Just like the Kodiak craps all over the Dire Wolf in most situations.
It is true, the more clan battlemechs there are, the more op clasn become because their weapons are so light and small in comparison to IS, and their XL is orders of magnitude better.
