For my spread sheet warriors out there can someone please calculate a few things here on the Laser Meta between Clan and IS.

Can someone compare each sides ER Large Lasers by.
- single laser tick rate
- ghost heat tick rate(meaning the max you can fire and the damage tick it has)
- heat of single laser
- Ghost Heat

Can you pleae do the same for LPL's?

I got a feeling on something and want to see how it compares.

not hijack the thread, but can someone tell me how the pulse laser out perform regular ones??

in game they felt weak to me and i know for fact they are stronger then regular ones

The main advantages they have are burn times and damage output. They're better for closer range combat and shorter range poking than normal lasers, since you can make sure that damage all goes into the same component.

Its a tradeoff
More damage delivered in less time, at a cost of more heat and shorter range.

Among other problems I have with often calls for PPC buffs, the fact that ballistics are weak and don't get as many calls for buffs in most cases is bothersome.

Laser meta? Its the best to use, although PPC's do have a place there for long range. Ballistics are really hard to compete. I guess especially the AC 10's.

It's at the cost of tonnage and shorter range, the heat is the same (discounting that with the tonnage difference it may mean more heatsinks in a standard laser build)

i dunno man ballistics feel really strong to me right now, i see dakka spam all the time with it usually on the top of the damage charts in the game. gauss is still dumb and ac20 any variant still melts faces in close range.

any under used weapon gets a boost until the stats PGI uses fall in line

one day something is meta the next month its not so good
