I have all the Battlemaster variants with both XL and STD variously employed. However I am interested in a second fast 2C to compliment my STD 2C mainly in CW skirmish/conquest.

I have the 340XL, 350XL, 360XL, 380XL and 385XL on hand. Should I look to the 370s or use what I have?

I know people speak highly of the penta LPLAS build. Is it that good? I am looking for atleast a triple LPLAS level of fire power at range. I have a Hellslinger with a 385XL, 3x LPLAS + 2x mlas. Should I down engine and migrate that build to the 2C?

What are your thoughts?

Triple LPLAS
Quad LPLAS
Penta LLAS
Penta LPLAS
other

I might want dual AMS with 1.5-2 tons as it is occasionally useful.

You don't want AMS :) 350XL+5LPL is nice combo

Yeah 5 LPLs is pretty good. Fire 3 then 2. With an XL350, I think you can fit 19 DHS.

Okay I will try the penta LPLAS build and see how it works. Still have about 1.5 million more to grind.

This is what I personally run: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...9b9382828125b80 Quick, hits hard, good cooling means you aren't tied to the "poke poke hide" playstyle, and AMS provides you and your team with cover from LRM boats, which have become much more popular recently, for when you get on maps like Polar where cover is scarce.

You can also run 3 LPLs+3MLs with a STD330 and a crap load of DHS (21?) and be super tanky mech dude. I think the 2C has some structure quirks.

1G with XL400 and 6 LL

Its my fav battlemaster by far, going 81 in an assault just makes you feel good.

lolz some? Its has a light mech worth of structure quirks! STD engine is awesome in it but it does XL really, really well.

I'd go XL if possible, 9 outa 10 you'll get CT cored anyways (and 10th is headshot i kid you not).
