Hey guys,

So having played a reasonable amount of FW over the past week, i have found it a lot more fun and interesting than previously, as well as much quicker to get into matches.

I am curious what other people think of it now?

Still no Clan Diamond Shark, so I haven't touched it.

That is obsurd, WHY are you a clan D Shark purist?

Clan Diamond Shark is reasonable Clan out there compare to other arrogants Clan. Since they more humble toward non-clan and freebirth. Also they pretty good at merchantile and they suprisingly have strong Mechwarriors.

It's a big improvement in queue times, and quickplay maps with respawns work really well.

It's also a decision to finally admit scrapping the idea of "community warfare" that they originally pitched this game's fundraising on, player driven warfare simulation on a galactic map with strategically releavant planets, unit owned assets, economy and logistics systems and so on is now officially canceled.

It's a decent quickplay 2.0.

It's not community warfare.

I'm having fun with it but community warfare was what I really wanted, so yeah...

Which ever side has big enough group gets the advantage, whcih means the core imbalance of CW remains. At least we got rid of that snowballing Long Tom, and have pug maps on CW, for variety. CW is still a place that is extremely unfriendly to solo players, however. I am not confident that current CW population can be sustained in the long run.
