Looks so silly it's amusing to watch.

Even back then it was exploited, I see. :)

We had a ton of that back in the days of MW4 and its expansions. The Mad Cat Mk II was the favorite for that. The Uziel could serve as a mini pop tart too.

In all honesty, I'd love to see one or two maps from MW3 ported to MWO just to "shake things up."
I realize of course that it'd be a "LRM wonderland" but still... A map where a Timberwolf can be used stock, the way it is supposed to, should be experienced by everyone ;)

It was so commonplace in MW4 multiplayer that it practically killed the game.

It's almost like being able to emerge from cover just long enough to fire your shot, then duck back down behind safety where you can't be hit in return is, like...beneficial, somehow. On some weird, alien level of reality where being shot in a firefight is bad and people have invented this whole big body of knowledge and techniques to try and shoot their targets without being shot in return. I dunno what we'd call such a strangely specific body of knowledge, though. I mean, it seems like such a weird, foreign concept, but if we had to just pull a word out of the alphabet soup, just randomly assemble letters into something we can all agree on as a name for this theoretical esoteric body of knowledge...

How about..."tactics"?I've never heard of that word anywhere before, sounds like total nonsense to me. Let's go with it. Maybe we can revolutionize the game with this bizarre concept!

NO, NO ITS AN EXPLOIT BECAUSE IN MY PERSONAL OPINION IT SHOULDN'T BE DONE, THEREFORE ITS PRACTICALLY CHEATING.

Meh. Not really. Gauss and ERLLas were essentially PPFLD hitscan weapons, then, and, until MekTek got its hands on it, radar penetrated terrain. Unless they went full passive, you could easily anticipate their pop, and nail them the second they went over cover since your radar didn't cease to track them.

"Pull" became a vastly overused word in my personal dictionary.

Except that you only really saw it in NH/UA and or 3PV matches, forced First Person with limited ammo and heat enabled were all about the large green/red lasers. The Nova Cat was king for a long time, until they finally fixed the catnapping exploit and even then they were still powerful.

It is exploiting AI's inability to counter such maneuver.
