Democracy is brilliant for ruining all sorts of things including MWO can we have the tic box's back so that half of us can uncheck conquest and the other half can uncheck skirmish and stop making players play the modes they dont like it is doing my head right in

secondly short and long range que. some builds just will not do well on some maps by default and i guarantee if i take that build i'll get that map not a problem if everyone has the same range though because either every one pushes into range or every one pokes from it im sick of being the only brawler and just waiting for 5 mins or so for a team to move up and engage

get rid of one base in assault and randomise where it spawns simples! do this with dominations as well

turrets aren't really needed in escort the check point giving away radar pos in enough for a defending team

an instant war arena small map like just one side of river city drop 24 mechs with only a few buildings between them more action less boredom

- On many maps you can still play as brawler well, depends of teamplay. Difference in range of Clan vs IS not a problem. Especially in QP, where IS and Clan mech = 27% and 73%. In all other situation you just need use map. And force team to play smart. If all brawlers - use cover and make ambush. Force enemy to fight close or come closer.

- Nope. Two base make game balanced. You can kill or you can cap. Better add some defense turrets to base, for knocking out lone light mech and force them use 2-3 of light instead. Making random - bad idea. Spawning in good for enemy location just make match end before start. Some places on map too easy to dominate.

- Turrets places for light mech damage, which can easy cap all towers in seconds. That was good idea. Maybe adding few lrm turrets can be even better (MW3)

- Small maps can be found in Private Lobby - like Coliseum. Maybe in future we will see more such maps. Anyway - maps getting bigger and with many tactical choices depending of builds in team. maybe sometimes players start make mixed builds - mid\long or short'long ranged mech.

yeah im aware that brawlers can be taken on range friendlier maps and clan or IS was never an issue. occasionally it works out but 90% of the time im stood in cover between the 2 lines just waiting and its not my teams fault they all brought range and voted and played accordingly why should they push up with me when they brought pokemechs i can't spring an ambush with one mech and if the enemy pushes im either still in cover and get surrounded or im still with my team which is getting pushed because the enemy has been winning the trades either way its too little to late (90%ish of the time) but thanks for that very helpful insight about the merits of short and long range may be i should turn all my grind builds to bracket builds was never a fan it'll hurt my score in places but at least i can trade while every one digs out some courage

assault balance ? should we bring in 2 VIPs to balance escort? do you really think if a based was removed that assault would be broken beyond fixing ? if the defensive team is at an advantage because they can camp their base making the attackers do all the work then give the attackers more fire power in the way of tonnage or may be some extra intel its not hard, the current format is ok..ish but can often be 2 teams camping base (boring) or a base gets capped before the fight can take place (there is no fate horrible enough for pilots who do this) and i dont care about ya "tactical play" i didn't just wait around in lobby for a match to finish before it started if you're gona do that just DC your gona either die quick or end the game quick you might as well leave and let people melt each other a bit

i say we dont need the turrets from a defenders view the VIP can often complete half its walkies before enemies even see each other to add to that we find out where the attackers are real fast and just sending your forces to fight well away from the VIP can often hold up the attackers long enough for the VIP to escape even if we do get wiped 12-0, sending lights to cap can often cost you your lights, when attacking as mentioned the turrets take a pop if there are dirty lurmers about they'll vomit in your direction so by the time the attackers engage they've already given up position armour and the VIP is half way there that said i really enjoy the game mode especially defending in the right mech on the right map all i have to do is turn the enemy enough times keep em chasing me or just take out the quick ones if pos and the game is over 5 mins before the end

and lastly on the subject of arenas again quite aware that there is an arena thing in private game and also no c-bills or XP :( im a big fan of a quick and dramatic fire fight but if i did have 23 other players that wanted to do private arena battles then i wouldn't be asking for it in quick play would i ?

so feature suggestion still stands i suggest a long and short range que (with no faction rules just welcome to the range game or brawl game) just because it is my personal opinion it would make for better games in quick play

make assault an asym game and re-balance or just get rid of those game wrecking achilles heels

give the attackers a better chance on escort i know its new i havent seen any stats but i recon the VIP escapes may be 70% of the time

small insta fight arena style maps in QP like the private one only public with C-bills and XP awards
