Only the blue is on sale... because it sounds different? I don't get it.

They had to give some reason to buy PXHs?

Dunno.

As for the sale, there are some weird gaps (all the original ones are excluded too, it seems). I hope they'll fix that. I needz dem sonic boomz.

Phoenix Blue is frakking awful, even worse than the Jade Falcon horns. Whichever geniuses had the bright idea to add warhorns that screech should be ashamed of themselves. I'd rather have wound up with squirty fart noises than that ear-piercing garbage.

Personally I like the phoenix blue warhorn. I tend to put it on my poptart mechs.

Really I would love if PGI would change the Jade Falcon sound to the blue one.

Really? It's my favorite of the Phoenix! Just not sure I want to buy one though... usually keep MC for Hero but bought a few yard sale warhorns in the past, still my favorite.

The Phoenix Blue is the only one that remotely sounds like an actual warhorn. Something you would play to intimidate your enemies. Wolf howls, shrieking eagles, all that. Makes sense. Not half as cool as the Marauder ram warhorn or the Cameron Star warhorn or the Yardsale warhorn. But I get it.

The other Phoenix warhorns sound like the intro for some villain in an anime aimed at young children. It's the kind of jingle I would expect to hear in the Batman tv show from the 1970's, before the "To Be Continued" sequence at the end of the show, when Batman and Robin are in mortal danger.

Who the hell would play a dramatic musical jingle to intimidate their opponents?

'slowly scoots box of Clan Diamond Shark ad-infused warhorns underneath a table with one foot'

Honestly, I haven't heard a good deal of warhorns in a long time because of sound mods. I sort of miss them. Been thinking about trying to run the game without sound mods again, just to hear them.

Nah, Blue sounds better than the rest. Even better than Falcon screech.

I see this has been fixed... but why blue sounds different is still a mystery!

Not home to check, but can we preview the sound of a warhorn prior to purchase?

Or my favorite one, Classic Isobaric.

It's shame it looks so bloody UGLY in the cockpit.. So hideous... And in a lot of mechs obstructs the view so horribly!
Wish i could make the item invisible and just keep the sound effect.

Of course we can... I was about to ask new to the game? But I see you number of posts... maybe new to warhorns? Posted Image

Yes, new to warhorns. I usually don't bother with cockpit trinkets, but a good warhorn sound is a nice finishing touch.
