I've looked over the Skill Tree preview images and noticed that the UAC Jam Reduction skills are only .25 here and there, making them less than 5 percent. Am I missing something or is this a severe nerf to UACs?

There are plenty of mechs with no UAC jam reduction quirks. For them this is a buff.
My 6xCUAC2 Jade Kite, and 4xCUAC2 HBK-IIC are gonna be very happy come February. A lot of Clan meta mechs are gonna be happy, actually.

Well, remember that the stats they gave us back then are placeholders.

So basically, already good mechs benefit more than bad mechs.

CUAC2 jamming isn't really a problem in my experience, especially when boating. The cUAC5/10/20 though is a different story. Those suck right now.

Placeholder values. Basically, you should ignore everything in the video except for the very basic underlying concepts.
