In the age of quirks, at least one variant of the COM, WLF and SDR are better than any FS9. I'm not sure about the MLX. It's not good, but have you tried driving a FS9 lately? I have. They're really, really awful. Might actually be the worst light chassis.

Firestarter has very limited torso pitch which really became quite a problem after rescale because shooting those cheetah legs became impossible and your now huge size combined with IS xl means that you can be popped pretty quickly even when not shot at legs. It's probably mech which was hurt most by the rescale.

And it doesn't have the toughness quirks of the WLF to help it, either. (And the slightly broader shoulders really matter after the embiggening because hitting those STs is much easier).

You know what sucks?

I give you some hints:

1.It's 2/3rds the height of a hunchback.

2.Has no structure quirks of any kind.

3.Has the bare minimal of weapon quirks too.

4.It starts with a "F" and ends with a "R"

5.It used to be topdog before the ACH, but now every other light is better than it.

NO agility quirks either, i feel like im driving a mini bus.

Being a light mech in escort. darn turrets
Turning the entire enemy team or splitting them for your team then dancing like a epileptic chicken to dodge damage and continue to draw enemy fire. Then finally dying. When you go into spectate your team hasn't moved or even tried to engage the other team making your whole effort kinda pointless. true pugy story.

Too often XD . Is one of the reasons why I largely stopped playing Lights at all .

When you're actively fighting in the circle while friendly assaults and heavies are sitting outside the circle, too scared to get their paintjobs scratched.

When you have am Atlas D with 2 LBX 10's and you are dueling another light and instead of being patient just starts firing in the mix killing you and then the enemy light taking out the atlas.

Intercepting the enemy is fine, but when your team decides to set up a firing line OUTSIDE the circle while friendlies are getting the hottest Mech gangbang inside is when I quit the match as soon as I die.
Get inside the circle pls.

Legging big mechs in pubs is wasted damage because nobody else will shoot there.

Reducing he enemy manuver speed to 40kph is what allows your team's brawlers to win. Stop thinking like it's all hidey pokey fighting at 700+ meters.

And even then a one legged mech doesn't back into cover very quickly.

Uh huh. And that's how PUGs work? Not usually. Getting legged sucks but vs the majority of players in PUGs, torso kills are far and away the easiest and most efficient way to kill enemy mechs. By all means, work on leg shots. I'll have your torso gone faster.
