Pretty sure the dude is trolling... according to leaderboard, he has a near break-even W/L and KDR, though with only 20 games its hardly a robust dataset, but still, hard to call it a stomp either way when he is right around 50%...

No, no, no. Obviously you are not of understanding.

A near-even KDR and W/L ratio is indicative of deeply flawed gameplay where balance heavily favours the IS. If it was anything like in the books, Clanners should stomp the IS every single time, unless Victor Steiner-Davion is drop lead on the other side.

That things are not so is because PGI has thrown THE LORE out the window and because of their baseless nerfs of the KDK-3. Pure socialism, if there ever was hammer, sickle and star on a red banner.

I know its like why wont people just hold locks for my LRM boats. I mean I don't want to waste my tonnage on Beagle or targeting computers, or put LRM Range mods on my mechs, or Extended radar tracking, or Target decay. I just want to roll in with my LRM 80 Mad dog with no basic skills and my team should just tank that damage so i can get locks. I will obviously win the game for everyone if they just held locks those noobs.

So eh...Ragnar...you let your "noob team" die in the front, as long as you are able to get your locks for your LRMs with your range modules...
...yeah....hmmm also a tactic...

Just in case you aren't going double-troll, let me illuminate the post...

It is because IS quirks have considerable advantage now, especially for lasers.
