Pick more hot maps.

Thank you and that's all.

Too bad Mordor had fallen out of favor. I love that map.

I too love Terra Therma. It grew on me in Hunt the Huntsman event. I always vote for it whenever possible.

Mordor was never in favor to begin with, but after the recent changes it is probably one of the most interesting maps to play because of the cold spots and hot spots, coupled with all of the intricate pathways. Meds and lights have real relevance there.

I was referring to the new Mordor. It used to be popular but now people do not pick it anymore.

MADIICs. New owners wouldn't be caught dead even thinking about Terra while sitting in their shining new toasters.

T-DESERT is only 1 degree cooler than the volcanoes.

The exact temperature values actually don't matter.

They do, but it doesn't make as much a difference as everyone thinks it does.

My only real complaint about new TT is just that it's a ***** for me since I'm colorblind. Give us colorblind and a non-crap minimap, and I'll vote for it every time I see it.

i for once want it to happen like this:

select ballistic mech
get thermish skirmish
convince the entire team to play it old skool and take the ring (moved to the corner of the map)
other team simultaneously has the same idea
resulting game is reminiscent of old skool therma
game has a close finish

I mean the displayed "Ambient Temperature" on the loading screen.

How each spot/region on a particular map affects a 'Mech's performance on heat is located in the game files (.pak).

Does night vision help?

Oh god no. Nightvision makes everything worse. Making everything bright green is the opposite of what I need.

I wager that makes it even worse, since Bog is pretty much unplayable for him.

Heat vision is the only way I can survive Bog, which means my combat range is a bit hampered. That, and if a target is hiding behind some leaves, at least before we got the gloriously thick enemy indicators, I couldn't see the dorito, and thus I wouldn't know to target them.

There are so many nasty builds I have in mind for night gyr, but I promised myself I'd outfit my grasshoppers first.. and I haven't even slapped DHS and Endo on them. Sigh...

No, they don't.

Link to heat analysis

Sure, it's still old mordor, but the temp settings are still the same, too.

Night Gyrs are really weird to setup. Ballastics seem to be a must.

Would anyone recommend the Hero Gyr?
