Yes, I'd already seen the pretty pictures, but I'm afraid that they really haven't managed to get across what it is you actually want units to participate in. Can't really agree to participate in anything if it's not mentioned what we'd be participating in.

It's alright. We'll manage.

Obviously OPERATIONAL SECURITY must be maintained ;)

I think having the panther teabagging the kodiak head 'twould be more appropriate....

Probably a night of quick plays, no Faction Play whatsoever.

I did a tally after we wrapped up. Including Comstar, FRR/Kurita TS and AFFS plus the Mariks that Tanner pulled from their TS to fill out drops over all 3 we hit 10 full 12mans. 120 players, in coordinated simultaneous drops at the tail end of the Operation. We had a couple companies running earlier than that but it really took off in the last couple hours.

Now the question becomes how to keep that level of interest up.

To talk players into showing up?

I'd vote for that if PGI had a holmgang policy. I'd put two handfuls of hacksilver on Dane over Russ and another handful on Paul backing out of any challenge.

Do it Dane! I bet most if PGI doesn't even own a spear! Take over, get FW fixed. We're rooting for you.

Ah yes, Benjamin Franklin. "Three may keep a secret, if two of them are dead".

While I agree in theory, I doubt we'd have a lot of fun at it if it was just several hours of ghost drops. Kind of have to have the clans show up, too.

Golden post, you Clanner numbnut. Not only do you obviously have zero idea about when Operation Great Dane was about to take place. (Never mind there are threads about Op Great Dane having concluded where the outcome is being debated. But of course, with Clanners these days, it's about instant gratification, so you couldn't be bothered to look any further.)

No, on top of that, when the IS doesn't show up right in your timezone the moment you deign to launch the game, you get on the forum like the whiny {Dezgra} you are... and accuse the Jarl of whining?

Go enjoy your ghost drops. Otherwise, I'm sure your howling would be far louder, same as in this gem of a thread: https://mwomercs.com...n-faction-play/

Where you in the same sibko as the OP from that thread? Just asking.

"For the unwise man
who comes among men,
it is best that be he silent.
None know
that he knows nothing,
unless he should speak too much.
The man does not know it,
he who knows nothing,
whether he speaks too much."

Ah, checking your post history in the "Is Op" thread, it is confirmed that indeed you are from the same sibko as that other knob. The matter is settled.

You're about 4 days too late. I know, I know. Sometimes having a think is too many hards. Much many words to read makes head hurt.

Someone put this one back in the vat, I don't think it finished cooking.

Mischief, you know from NKVA posts that we clanners Just bash rocks. Reading isn't rock bashing so it's avoided. I'll be skipping reading Wednesday when we go back to the IS because I'll be too busy getting my hair done. You know, for combat readiness.

How does a small Mercenary Unit (roughly 30 actives) get in on this action?

I've visited the Star League Hub and would like to coordinate some drops when we are on IS contracts. We can jump from our Private TS to your Hub and group up for the sake of victory.

IT, Out.
