Curse of Bigfoot 1978
Might be somewhat spooky for younger viewers. A group of students and a professor go on an archaeological dig, and find a sealed cave with a preserved humanoid inside. After the speciamin is removed it wakes up and is short lived there after. Good use of philosophy in a classroom, some good footage of 1970's logging equipment, and very low budget special effects on the creature. Sorry, bigfoot not really seen. The acting was so far good for this quality of picture. No foul language or other family surprises.

Reminds me of "The Thing" (was it?) -- that alien monster movie with Kurt Russell from the 1980's.
A classic.
