Hi everyone! I'm a fairly new player to this game, but I managed to pick up a lot learning from other players within the matches. I picked up a TBR-PRIME, AS7-D and a Stalker. I'd like to play more as far as learning the builds, and strategies when it comes to playing certain mech classes, but in a sense it's a lil "lonely" playing by myself in quick matches. Are there any groups here who would like to "take me under their wing" so to speak? Or maybe tag along in the LFG and maybe get to know some of the players here? It would definitely make this game a lot more fun! I also use VoIP applications as well.

there are many units looking for players they can train up, you can find them here
before joining a unit make sure they are likely to be on while you are, are interested in the same level of play you are (e.g. if you are a casual player you do not want to join a competitave team), and check if the unit has a code of conduct, and if they do is it acceptable to you.
I am part of a reasionable sized unit with players based in North America, Eurape and Australia, we have both casual and competitave players and are happy to help teach new players, if you are interested check out the link in my signiture

If you still haven't found a unit, consider mine: 133rd Solahma. We're Jade Falcon loyalists and are a pretty small and tight nit group. Our play times are usually in the evening (PST) as a lot of our members are night owls. We also have a couple members from Europe and even one from Japan.
We're very easy going, like to have fun, are not too intense over winning/losing (but everyone likes to win!), and focus on team play. We also do some training and would love to welcome a new player in the fold.
If interested, please send me a private message here or add me in game. We have a Team Speak server (TS is actually required) and I'll be happy to give you that info if you want.
All in all, the most important thing is to have FUN! If you've found a unit already, I'm happy for ya bud. If not, give me a jingle
