Same fix as applied to the PHX. That has worked out well.

Alright, alright. If not the Chameleon, why not the Talon? It's a 35 tonner. Standard loadout is an ER PPC and two Medium Lasers. Decent size, decent armor, an XL Engine and a ground speed of 129.6km/h?
Plus the guns are right beside the cockpit.

Overall the geometry of the Spector looks to be more compact. The other issue I have is that it lacks JJs. The speed is fine and the high mounts are nice. It comes down to your priorities.

I would buy either but for me a fast harasser is better than a fast sniper. The other issue I see with the Talon is that there are only three variants and two of them use tech not in game. Now if one variant introduced the Light Engine that it carries....I would vote for it in a heart beat.

... just remember when THK, DVS and PLG, and if we get lucky VME too... comes out... they are NOT SNIPERS, but an POWER BRAWLERS than can carry multiple GR... and also AC40/AC60 instead... with cheesy 3xLPL.

And that surpasses my manic need for a light in what way? Not that a good assault is not nice but i think I have added quite a few of them to my garage since my last Light mech. Currently between my Kodiak, Banshee and Marauder IIc I am covered, though would buy the rest. But my Light fix is jonesen bad.

Add it to the extinct mech pack, and bundle it along with Alfar, Dragoon, and Crockett, and you got a deal!

Meh, I would actually prefer the Firefly. Squat 30 tonner with good armor and weapons payload. Also, Hornet, 20 ton ball on legs with a couple bottle rockets strapped to it's back.
