the idea of ranking is not a bad idea

but the tier thing is a bad idea

I played with and against a ton of teams 12 dg is at the top
you see the game is mostly controlled by the computer so you rushing in and out alphaing the other team is not true tactics

ranking must be done with teams of equal number, preferably 12 mans

special ops missions reserved for 12 man team is what I propose

advance notice missions on a specific planet sort of like MRBC but with 12 man teams
3 drops for the attack/defense

of course this idea would work a lot better if some of the other ideas we put out back in phase 1 where implemented
for example
star lanes, jump ships, supply routes, types of planets, jump time and more

I read somewhere that 12BG or ARC7 (one of them, don't remember which) kept a list of units that they think are "suspicious", that might be the closest thing to a current SWOL power ranking.

When EVIL first formed it only had like 3 members that merged with KCOM, When 3.0 hit EVIL reformed and started cherry picking players from units such as MJ12, 228, KCOM, 2323, MS, TCAF, NS, IREX and the leaderboards. So really EVIL is ranked teir F-S according to SWOL.

Funny thing is no SWOL members were ever asked to join EVIL, yet EVIL recruited Zito's Mom who has her own teir rank that looks like this.... 8====>
